Please read these terms carefully before confirming your booking with us

  1. Making a booking

    1. A booking is confirmed when you have received a confirmation email and paid the deposit (if applicable) or full booking price.

    2. By placing an order verbally or online and/or making a payment, it is deemed you have read, understood and fully agreed to all of our booking terms and conditions.

  2. Prices, Deposits and Payments

    1. If your booking value exceeds £200, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is due to secure your booking. The remaining balance is to be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event start date. If you are booking within 30 days of your event, the full value is due on booking.

    2. For bookings with a value under £200, the full amount is due to secure your booking in our system.

    3. We will not attend or supply services for a booking that has not been paid for in full. Any money paid towards the booking will be forfeited.

    4. PhotoBomb is a cashless business. We do not accept cash under any circumstances. Payments can be made via card for amounts £200 or under, for amounts above this we request payment via bank transfer.

    5. Cancellations 31 days or less before any booking will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations 31 days or less from the event forfeit any monies paid and require payment of the full balance.

    6. To use our services or hire items for longer than the booked time, payment must be made before this time commences. Extra time is provided at our discretion and based on availability.

    7. Advertised or quoted prices are subject to change without notification until your booking has been confirmed and deposit paid.

    8. In exceptional circumstances where a payment has been agreed after services provided, we reserve the right to charge 5% per week of late payment on the original amount +VAT. We will take action to recover any amounts through small claims court after 4 weeks.

  3. Photo Booth Hire timings and durations

    1. In the unlikely circumstance we are not ready to start at the agreed time because of an issue at our end, we will extend our finish time to the agreed duration (venue permitting).

    2. In the event we cannot start at the agreed time for reasons that may be outside of our direct control, we will do all we can to extend the hire duration accordingly, provided this does not enter into the time of any other client that may have hired us. If that is not possible, the hire will still end as per the agreed time of the booking.

    3. In the event we can start at the agreed time but previous activities by you or the venue are overrunning, the hire will still end at the agreed time on the booking. Extensions in that time is at our discretion and may be billed.

    4. We cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event; these may include but are not limited to severe weather, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness or equipment failure. If we cannot fulfil your hire due to events beyond our control we will contact you as soon as possible and our liability will be limited to refunding all monies paid.

    5. As standard, we arrive one hour before your chosen photo/video start time for the Mirror, 360 and Icon products and leave immediately after we have finished. If the product is required to be set up earlier or have us pack down after an event has finished, there is an idle hour charge of £50 per hour to cover the cost of the staff being on site but the booth not being in use. The booth is not insured without a PhotoBomb staff member present.

  4. Light Up Number/Letter terms and conditions

    1. We endeavour to deliver your lights before 14:00 for standard number hire. We’ll try to deliver as possible, so could arrive as early as 9am unless we have agreed a fixed time. Please make sure someone is at the delivery address you have given us.

    2. If we cannot deliver, we will move on to the next stop. We cannot wait and if we need to return at a later time it may incur an additional delivery cost. Redelivery attempts are at our discretion. There are no refunds if we are unable to deliver.

    3. Deliveries must be to the address you have specified when booking. Changes to this are at our discretion and typically only apply to delivering to immediate neighbours.

    4. We endeavour to collect your lights before 14:00. Please ensure someone is available for us to collect at these times - especially with venues. We reserve the right to charge a flat fee of £20 if we need to return later to collect. If we are unable to collect before 2pm you may also be charged for an additional day hire and/or for lost revenues of future hires as a result of this.

    5. Collections must be from the address you have agreed with us at booking. We cannot change the collection address unless it is previously agreed. We cannot wait at your venue.

    6. Please take care of our lights and keep things safe.

      • Do not leave the lights unattended when switched on.

      • Do NOT attach glue dots, blutac or sellotape to the surface.

      • Ensure they are on a dry, flat and level surface at all times - NOT grass.

      • They are not waterproof, so keep them dry and covered.

      • Do not sit or lean on the lights, or use them to rest any items.

      • They are not drinks stands. This can damage the paint and electrics.

      • Please supervise children and pets to avoid them falling over.

      • You are liable for their use and safety in your hire time.

    7. Excessive damages to our lights are billed with a minimum fee of £30 and can run up to a maximum of £150 per light to replace it completely. We will provide photo evidence of the damages that we are claiming for and reserve the right to take the issue to a Small Claims Court if not paid for, with the cost of recovery passed on to you. Do not hire the lights if you are not prepared to take care of them.

    8. Additional charges: Payment of your invoice confirms you understand these terms. If we need to take action to recover for damages or re-collection, you will also be liable for the additional cost of making that claim.

  5. Equipment and hireable items

    1. The company reserves the right to substitute any equipment with equipment of a similar type and and value and amend or alter product specifications.

    2. Any items provided as part of your hire (with the exception of balloons) will remain property of the company at all times.

    3. All sizes quoted in space requirements are approximate.

  6. Site Location, Facilities & Conduct

    1. We will set up in one location as agreed on arrival and can not move equipment once set up.

    2. Please ensure there is sufficient space and that you have obtained permission to use our equipment at your venue.

    3. To provide the best service possible, our location with a staffed photo booth cannot be next to a sound system. We need to be able to communicate with guests without shouting and keep our staff safe.

    4. You must inform us of circumstances that would make delivery and/or set up more demanding, including going up stairs, long distances from unloading area etc. We allocate time to set up equipment in our price but complications we are not made aware of that extends setup time will come out of running duration.

    5. For the Mirror or 360, we cannot carry it up flights of stairs. There needs to be a lift or disabled access for us to be able to get it to anything other than the ground floor.

    6. In the event that space and/or access to your venue is not safe, practical or possible, our team has the right to ask for a different space or decline to proceed with the booking. No refund will be given in this instance.

    7. The client is responsible for ensuring suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the event, if required.

    8. We reserve the right to cease operation and remove equipment from site if at any time our team feels guest or client conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves or the safety of equipment. No refund will be given.

    9. Our team reserves the right to refuse guests use of the equipment if they feel they are too unruly, disruptive, drunk or abusive

  7. Liability & Insurance

    1. You agree to compensate our company for any damage or theft of equipment, as a result of negligent behaviour by the hirer or guests whilst on hire. This includes future loss of business arising out of the equipment being unavailable for future clients until repairs are completed.

    2. Where we are creating a photo album or guest book as part of a photo booth booking, we cannot be held responsible for damage or loss incurred by guests. IE. drink spills.

    3. The company accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and/or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

    4. Children under 14 must have an adult in attendance or be supervised around any of our equipment.

    5. The hirer agrees to guarantee permission is in place for photos to be taken with our photo booths.

    6. PhotoBomb Events has public liability insurance up to £5m and all equipment is PAT certified. Contact us if you need a copy of this documentation for your venue

  8. All other terms and conditions

    1. Unless specifically agreed beforehand, we may use any photographs from your event for advertising and promotional material, online and in print. The hirer agrees that permission is granted to do so from all guests.

    2. Unlimited prints applies to your booked hire duration only and is limited to a maximum of one per person in the photo to avoid abuse. It is at the attendants discretion to print more on the night. We will not print additional copies for a guestbook which is not provided by PhotoBomb.

    3. Please contact us if you are unclear on any of our terms and conditions before you book. We are more than happy to answer your questions.

    4. We will make every effort to deliver the equipment and service as agreed, however very occasionally it may be necessary to change elements due to circumstances out of our control. This will not be deemed a breach of contract.

    5. Any dissatisfaction of service provided by us must be made on the night, so we can attempt to rectify the situation.
